How the reporting history fits together

The pipeline preserves changing operational records so reporting can look back at an earlier business state instead of relying only on today’s records.

What did our projects and business records look like at an earlier reporting date?

What made it difficult

The existing connector output did not retain the history needed for point-in-time analysis. Reporting on the latest records alone could not reliably show earlier business states.

What we delivered

  • A Google Cloud / BigQuery pipeline that re-consumed Scoro and SyncHub data.
  • A historical snapshot model to retain changes over time.
  • A data foundation supporting historical reporting in Looker Studio.

What the business could see

The new data layer supported point-in-time analysis. Reports could use preserved historical states rather than relying only on the latest version of each record.
